May or October–November. Shoulder seasons offer warm temperatures (mid-70s to low 80s°F) and far fewer rainy days than summer. May is the driest month (~2.7 inches of rain over 7 days). October and November are also dry and pleasant without the intense summer humidity and crowd peaks. Gulf water remains warm enough for swimming into October
